loco over lomo

April 6, 2011

I wanted to test lomo photography for years but - well but it’s one of those things I wanted to do but didn’t know where to start - until Harry told me that he would try it. I said I’d join him. Today I downloaded iPhone apps - a good starter kit I believe. I searched the net for some quick must-know.

1. Take your camera everywhere you go. Yeay! Since it is a downloaded application on my phone, I can take it wherever I go. haha!

2. Use it anytime - day and night. Again - I use my phone day and night. I hope taking pics won’t be a problem.

3. Lomography is not an interference in your life, but part of it - Ok! so far I have taken few pics in my workstation alone. On my way to the restroom I thought of few areas I should have taken a shot. haha! Ang OA ko.

4. Try the shot from the hip. - OK I will remember that.

5. Approach the object of your Lomographic desire as close as possible. - It says investigate the world from inside. Hmmm. Interesting enough!

6. Don’t think. - This will be easy for me.

7. Be fast. - Another easy one for me.

8. You don’t have to know beforehand what you captured. - Applicable in the generic sense of my life.

9. Afterwards either. - Again, applicable in the generic sense of my life.

10. Don’t worry about rules. - HAHA! See! Now it makes sense why this is so apt for me.

Good luck to us!
