octoberfest

October 31, 2008

This must have been the longest interval between posts. Wow! If there are roller coaster years for others, September to October have been roller coaster months for me. I don’t know where to start so I’ll just list down things I learned.

1. Stop worrying, start living. We’ve been listening to this Audio-book in our interstate travels and funny as it may sound, this has turned into a maxim, a doctrine, a rule of my life. Let the future Emcee worry about things!

2.  I love Pinas. I heart Manila. I don’t know if I can ever stay anywhere else for good. (Although Singapore may not really be a bad idea.)

3. Home is where the heart is. If I had my family and closest friends in places outside the Philippines, I guess it wouldn’t really matter where I was. Ohmy! I couldn’t believe how homesick I was in my 1st week in the US to think that I hardly go to Batangas. Perhaps things change when you are half-way around the world from your loved ones.

4. I have the greatest friends in the world, anywhere in the world. Love you BJ, Bestem, Germs! Nuff said.

5. To miss your loved ones is one thing. To super miss them is another. Ano raw?! haha.. Wala lang. Parang ang dami ko lang namiss! : )

October has indeed been festive for me. Weeeh!
