brighter than sunshine

sweet side of the bell curve

indescribable randomness of thoughts

It’s my term-break. Actually, I don’t feel it much. There are weeks when we don’t have classes or case meetings at all so this week is not much different from those times. I can’t put that this is going to be less stressful week because now, instead of me worrying about the requirements, I’m worrying about whether I’m going to enroll at all or not.

Last Saturday, we had a surprise farewell party for Cesar. His girlfriend whom I finally met after forty-eight years and whom I super likey, Etel officemates (na naging FC na ko after), family (na extended family ko na rin) and 2 BJs, Maui and moi were there. Super love the chill-out mode. Anyway, Cesar’s plan to leave is another story. Haaay! I’ll super miss my best guy bud!

Do you believe in blessings in disguise? Just a thought - perhaps there are also blessings in disguise in disguise. These are those things you thought you were glad because your problem turns out to be the best thing that happened but then again at the end of the day it turned out that the problem is really problematic. Blessings in disguise in disguise. Perhaps life in general is really a myriad of blessing in disguise in disguise in disguise (repeat in disguise 30 times until fade).

I’ve always believed in the concept of trade-off. So far, I don’t know if I’m going to resign or if I’m going to enroll next term or if I will push through with plans of going to Singapore, or Australia perhaps. It’s ok to be clueless when you are a fresh grad, but I’m a freaking 24 years old already. Isn’t that an old age to be clueless? Anong trade-off ng lahat ng to?!

I’m rereading Sophie’s world. I was not able to finish it before so this time I’m going to finish it. It’s about philosophy. One time, in the Birthday Club in the office, one of my officemates was asked who his favorite philosopher was. Had I been asked that question, I don’t know if I can name a favorite philosopher or philosophy. I feel like I’m a philosopher. Pilosopo kasi ako. Seriously, philosophy means love for wisdom, and I feel like I love wisdom. I live knowing new thing, new places, new people. I love learning. Then I had a thought, don’t I have a philosopher’s curse? Because of my too much love for learning new things, I am suffering?! Wala lang. Parang winner’s curse sa Corp Fin. haha

Feeling ko may stalker syndrome talaga ako. I met this guy and the next time I was in front of a PC, I was googling about him. haha… Same thing that I did with “like of my 1st trime life” and “aylabyu” and perhaps any interesting guy I meet. hehe.. Gawd! all these interesting I learned are really interesting. Actually the idea of my effort to know all these things is so interesting.. haha.. Sana makita ko siya ulit! Ngayon na lang ako kinilig ulit ng ganito, promise! hehe

Yesterday, I had a medical check-up because my BP was uber-low last weekend and I’m having chest pains and random short repeating dizziness at work. I don’t know if this is just stress, anxiety attack or plainly psychological effect. Anyway, I’ll have to wait for a week for the results.

emcee, i’m on the same boat. sobrang clueless din ako about career moves to the point na frustrated na ako to the point na nag-crayola na talaga ako. haha. hay, ano pa bang dapat natin gawin to reach our goals? :( sabi nila in due time you will get what’s yours. pero when is that due time? di ba pwedeng now na lang o kaya very soon? *sigh*

hi emcee,

i hope you are fine. I really admire people who could write their goals on paper, who are very passionate about their career and plans of going abroad. Ako, hindi ko alam, hindi ko alam ano goals ko, sumusunod lng ako kung ano ang napunta sa akin. And im turning 25 years old in less than 2 months. Scary! :-|

Sabi ni Goethe, “Whatever you dream, or dare to dream, begin it.” Paano kaya ito?

Anyways, take care of yourself. The world does need you. :-)
