brighter than sunshine

sweet side of the bell curve

one fine month

June 6, 2008

I think this is the longest time interval from my last post. Oh well, I guess I got what I wanted so please repeat after me: Be careful for what you ask for.

I have a ridiculous schedule now. I’m back to school plus my already ridiculous work. But truth be told, although I always complain about how there are so many things to do and so little time I have, I think I still wouldn’t want things any other way. There had been weeks that I complained, nearly cried, questioned things, prayed so hard, wondered but it was just a phase, or so I want to think.

Whatever new spirit I have towards career, I think I owe it to the long break I had towards the end of May. Praise God for advance flight bookings my boss had no choice but to allow my week-long rendezvous.

To Lovely, cousin dearest, thanks for our Asian-turned-Indian invasion. Thanks for the madramang moments esoecially the one at Corus Hotel when I nearly cried.

To Rey, oh well, thanks for the reverse bungy experience, the chikahan during the ride, the picturan with that Pinay at Suntec, the movie night, the pamorningan session at Singapura, among others.  Ngayon lang tayo nakapagbonding ng ganon and I owe you bigtime! May 3 pancit canton ka pa saken. hehe…

To Cesar, thanks for meeting me up for coffee (and watching SATC kahit I know you don’t want to) and listening to my sentiments. I super miss you lalo!

To Pekner and Bogart, thanks for watching SATC with me. That movie deserves another post.. hehe.. I think I have such high spirit this month because I had a good culminating activity to my leisure weekend!

I think this is going to be a good month. A month full of diversions. MBA as diversion from work stress. Lean-body prof as a diversion from baby-girl prof. Friends and family as diversion from crazy sked. Shopping as a diversion from everything else. I think I’m going to have fun! I think therefore I am.
