holy week 2008

This is a long overdue post on our Cagayan de Oro-Camiguin trip and I don’t even know where to start.

It’s not the first time I’m not how for the long holy week vacation. It’s not the first time that I have gone out of town with Cesar, Rey, Germs, Jo-Ann and Daisy. It’s not the first time that Beng wasn’t able to join us in a holy week escapade. Yet, it’s a trip with a lot of first. It’s my first time to go to Mindanao. It’s my first time to try white water rafting and ziplining and I super love it. It’s the first time in 4 years (pinilit talagang maging first time) that I’ve drunk gin bulag again. Anlakas ng trip mo Cesar!

We super missed Beng in the trip and the reality that she’s really living a different life now has sunk in. :,( Too bad she missed the drunkard butanding at the bar. hahaha

I still can’t decide if this post is getting somewhere so perhaps I’ll just thank my WWR buddies. It was really a fun break from our busy lives. Special thanks to two of the greatest guys in my life: To Rey, thanks for not missing our tradition though you’re now working in Singapura. To Cesar, thanks for applying your work in our art of gambling. hehe. Thanks for long sleeves you brought. Though you weren’t able to use it, it was a good source of our laughter for the whole trip. hehe. Corleai, Adan, Bogart and Tin, hmmp, sayang wala kayo!
