passion

Last night, I came home around 11pm only to find my roommate Maui busy taking pictures she’ll submit for a Swatch Photo contest. She told me she’s been taking pictures for hours. I’m green as envy because here she is, tired and all, should have been resting for another busy day at work the following day but still, she took the time to do put her energy in a craft, photography, while I on the other hand don’t know what my passion is lest pursue it. I know it’s costing her a lot to pursue photography. The gears alone are expensive. Plus she took lessons. Plus she subscribed to Digital Photography. Plus she bought a lot of stuffs for props for her photo ops. Plus plus plus.

I told her photography is overrated that’s why I don’t want to pursue it. I told her, photography is something I’d do when I retire while my retiring colleague do fishing… hehe. But honestly, even other crafts don’t interest me much. Yeah, they interest me but not in a great depth for me to pursue it for a long time.

I hope she wins. I also hope I can find that something I can be really passionate about.
