brighter than sunshine

sweet side of the bell curve

of villains and of heroes

March 26, 2007

So I’m hooked again with two more TV series, Heroes and Prison Break.

Heroes - It’s all Germs’ and JoAnn’s fault. Had they discussed any other topic every freakin break I wouldn’t be pushed to watch this series. I thought this was just like some X-men inspired series but it’s different. What I like much about the plot is the genetics explanation. I also like how HIro explains the concept of time. Most of all I like how the characters always question destiny.

Anyway, I like the part when Mr. Lindermann asked Nathan Petrelli which one he likes, a life of happiness or a life of meaning and it’s impossible to have both. Mr. Lindermann said that a life of happiness dwells on the present and the present alone and a life of meaning lingers on the past and worries much for the future. Makes me wander which life I want to live.

So much for heroes, I like the villains more. Not just like, I love them. Especially (reader discretion is advised) Michael ‘anakan mo ko’ Scofield! I love Prison Break. The creators are so brilliant. I swear this my most favorite series (uhmmm next to Friends but they are of different genre anyway). Even my mom and Renzee liked it. Nakipaglabanan sila ng pamorningan saken. haha.

Scofield’s intelligence is so amazing and even saying that is an understatement. My mom said that what touches her much is the extent of how much a brother will do to save his family. He has the brains, the heart, the body, the face, the lips (tee-hee). Michael Scofield, marry me! haha

Too bad I don’t think the series will be around for a long time. I heard it will end by third season.
