law and order and disorder

Three things that keep me busy lately:
House MD - When I’m at the office I watch House on www.peekvid.com and on my spare time I update some files for work… haha.
Ally McBeal - thanks to piracy I got to watch Ally McBeal on weekends. Kabaliw! Why did I never pursue law that much?
Osho Zen Tarot - It’s been almost a month since I bought my first deck of tarot cards but I haven’t given much time learning it yet. Well.. ganon talaga ako. Sometimes, the interest over something runs longer than actually keeping something. haha
Yun lang naman so far…
Then while watching House, the doctor said something about bipolarity. I like that word because I always felt that I am a bipolar person because of my extreme characteristics until I heard that it was a disorder.
According to Wikipedia, it is a mood disorder, a special case of clinical depression that cycles with mania and hypomania. Tsk tsk! My friends tell me that I have so many things I like to pursue but once started, I never really push hard to finish them. Like law perhaps though I never really started at all. Also, just last year, I remember being too eager to paint until I bought a good set of oil painting tools but I just painted for a day and thadaaaah… I never painted again. These are just few of those interests that I start but never finish. Well, I can really get obsessive when I want something or when I start liking something (this only applies to things… no person in record yet)
Hmmm.. So am I clinically sick? I don’t think so.I think not therefore I’m not.
Then again, lately I am being drug-dependent – on antihistamine tablets. I am allergic to dust mites that I barely lift any cleaning tool at home. haha (para-paraan) I easily sneeze and get watery eyes whenever something dusty is near, so the allegy to dust mites. This I self-diagnose as allergy rhinitis. Then I discovered that anti-allergy treatments can make you drowsy. Sounds interesting. Hitting two birds with one stone. One medication for allergy and my sleeping disorder. It’s my second week on antihistamine pills. I hope I don’t become addicted to them. Though, I’m starting to research on the effect of antihistamine overdose. So far, tremors (which I realize I am starting to have before finding out that it is one of the symptoms of overdose) are the only obvious effect so I guess I’m not overdosed yet. hehe…
Don’t worry dear friends, I don’t take this antihistamine drugs when I drink alcohol. I sleep as soundly after drink as after taking antihistamine pills. Which do you want as a friend, a drug-dependent or an alcoholic? Wag nyo akong isumbong sa parak! hehe
